Ronald Trabalka, 63, of Sayreville died on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at home. Born in Perth Amboy he lived in Old Bridge before moving to Sayreville 40 years ago. A member of Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy he was president of the Quarter Horse Association and a member of Saddles & Spurs 4H Club and the Handicap Riders Association. He had a great love for dancing, baking, swimming at Frog Hollow and spending time with his grandchildren.
Son of the late Edward A. and Dorothy Schulmeister Trabalka he is also predeceased by his son Scott A. Trabalka in 2016 and his brother Edward Lewis Trabalka in June. He is survived by his wife Frieda Kern Trabalka; his son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Jessica Trabalka; his brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Janet Trabalka; his brother-in-law George Kern and his wife Betty Jo; his grandchildren Jaiden, Ryan, Victoria, Jaxon and John and his nieces and nephews Dana, Nicole, George and Keith.
Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 7, 2021 at the Cheesequake Fire House, 113 Route 34, Matawan, from noon until 4pm.
