Rose DeStefano Delio, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, lovingly known as RoRo, 85, of Parlin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. At an early age, RoRo exhibited a love for painting and fashion. She loved to express herself through her vibrant wardrobe and unique flair. She was extremely talented. RoRo brought her talents to Ozone Park, where she opened up Nanny RoRo's Plaster Crafts. She was a staple in her community, and all who knew her loved and adored her. She was everyone's Nanny. She instilled family values and traditions. RoRo was a master in the kitchen. She was known for her festive holiday feasts that brought family and friends together. She had a special knack for making each holiday feel magical, filling our home with warmth and laughter. Her laugh was contagious. You left your footprints on our hearts, and we will cherish our memories with you forever. We love you with all our hearts.
Daughter of the late Genaro and Teresa Napolitano DeStefano. RoRo is predeceased by her husband Anthony Delio and her daughter Lucille Caruso. She is survived by her son-in-law Charles Caruso; her grandchildren Yolanda Caruso and her husband Matthew Rondeau, Anthony Caruso and his wife Michele and Charlieboy Caruso and his wife Chelsea and her great-grandchildren Marriana, Milana, Mia and Baby Charlie Caruso.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday October 4, 2024 at 11am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 225 MacArthur Avenue, Sayreville, NJ 08872 followed by interment in Linden Hill United Methodist Cemetery, Queens. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Flowers are not requested. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
