Salvador Morales

Salvador Morales, 95, of Perth Amboy died on Thursday November 6, 2025 at Alameda Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Garrochales, Puerto Rico he came to the mainland United States as a young man chasing the American dream. He began his journey in Perth Amboy as a dishwasher at the Crystal Luncheonette where he stayed until his retirement as a short order cook.

He is predeceased by his wife Margarita; his brother Fernando; his sisters Luz and Isabella and his first wife Gladys. He is survived by his children Jimmy, Mildred and Brenda Lee; his beloved nephews Ezequial and Tito; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren

Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 17, 2025 at 5:30pm during visiting from 4 to 6pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, CCDOM.org.
