Sandra Maltese Gay

Sandra Maltese Gay, 76, of South Amboy died on Monday January 15, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Newark she loved to cook but above all was devoted to her family as a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy.

Daughter of the late Jack and Stella Verona Maltese she is also predeceased by her husband George “Skeeter” Gay, Jr. in 2023 and her brothers Frank, Jack and Michael Maltese. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Timothy and Lisa Gay and Brian and Jennifer Gay; her daughter Tricia Gay; her sister Linda Katz and her husband William; her grandchildren Karyssia, Brian, Stephanie, Andrew, Kevin, Matthew, Nicholas and Issac and her great-grandson Kaiden.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 3:15pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 to 4pm.
