Stacia Dabrowski Drotar

Stacia Dabrowski Drotar, 94, of South Amboy died on Friday January 19, 2024 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Sayreville she was previously employed by Brodsky & Sons Dress Factory, South River and Russ’ Sub Shop, Sayreville. Stacia loved to cook Polish food, take drives through the country, visiting flea markets, playing Bingo, doing arts and crafts and making jewelry. She also enjoyed gardening and puzzles.

Daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Dabrowski she is also predeceased by her husband Peter Drotar in 2002. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Strawhand of South Amboy, Linda Flannery of South Amboy, Janice Fontano of South Amboy, Maryann Ernst and her husband Wade of South River, Kathleen Sroczynski and her husband Thomas Garsick of South Amboy, Diane Romano and her husband Anthony of Old Bridge and Cynthia Drotar of Edison; her sister Aldona Schlottfeld of Sayreville; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday January 25, 2024 only from 9 to 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy which will conclude with a memorial service at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Food Bank of NJ, CFBNJ.org.
