Suzanne Matthaey

Suzanne Matthaey, 65, of Matawan died on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in New York she was previously employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bayshore Hospital, retiring in 2011. A member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph Court 884 she was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Haley Hose Company Number 1, Matawan and the Bayshore Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Daughter of the late William and Margaret Buettner Matthaey she is survived by her siblings Janice Matthaey, Jeffrey Matthaey and his wife Nancy, Thomas Matthaey and his wife LuAnne, Alexander Matthaey and his wife Patricia, Andrea Dzioba and her husband Steven and Neil Matthaey and his wife Theresa; her nieces and nephews Erin, Allyson, William, Cortney, Emily, Christopher, Katherine, Samantha and Edward and many cousins.

Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
