Vincent Albano, 81, of Edgewater Park died on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at The Atrium at Wayne Rehabilitation Center. Born in Newark he lived in Edgewater Park for 52 years. Before retiring in 2002 he was employed by Webcraft Technologies, South Brunswick. He was a very active member of the Deptford Elks Lodge 2708, serving as Exalted Ruler among many other positions.

Son of the late Rocco and Theresa Castellano Albano he is survived by his wife Barbara Christie Albano; his daughters Christine Albano of Marlton and Lisa Albano of Saddle Brook; his brother Thomas and his wife Connie of Texas; his sister Rose Anna of Florida; his brother-in-law James Christie and his wife Rita of South Amboy; his sister-in-law Kathleen Christie of North Carolina; his nephews Rocco Isabella and Andrew, Jonathan and James Christie and his nieces Andrea and Jennifer Albano.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 16, 2021 at 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Visitation will be on Monday morning only from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Elks Camp Moore, PO Box 1596, Woodbridge, NJ 07095; checks may be made payable to NJ State Elks Association, Special Children’s Committee.
