Virginia “Ginny” Melnick Myslinski, 86, of South Amboy died on Sunday November 30, 2025 at home. Born in Perth Amboy she began working with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer Law Firm right out of high school and worked there for over 50 years. She loved to read, enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and loved her family. She was especially close with her brothers and sister-in-law.
Virginia and Joseph cherished their memories with lifelong friends, Marie and John Sabine, and Terry and Joe Dobrowolski. Often spending Saturday nights at each other’s homes, 4th of July gatherings in Colts Neck or vacations in Myrtle Beach. This larger group, also included Tom, Audrey and Robert, as well as all of the children, who were close in age, contributing to those very special times together.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Melnick she is also predeceased by her husband Joseph Myslinski in 2009. She is survived by her daughter Diane; her son David; her brothers Thomas and Robert; her sister-in-law Audrey; her grandchildren Shaun and Kerry and her great-grandchildren Ethan, Sawyer and Chloe.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at 10:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen’s Church, St. John Paul II Parish, Perth Amboy. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning only from 8:30 to 10:15pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assocation.
