Virginia “Ginny” Taylor, 59, of South Amboy died on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was a lifelong resident of South Amboy. An avid fan of the New York Giants she loved the great outdoors. She loved being at the beach, camping and fishing, or sitting around the bonfire with family and friends. Ginny loved to travel and was a fan of Atlantic City. She was previously employed by NAES.
Daughter of the late Charles Roy, Sr. and Arlene Marshall Taylor she is also predeceased by her brother Jeffrey Taylor, Sr. She is survived by her brothers John Taylor and Moira of Arizona, Chris Taylor and Tracey of Perth Amboy and Charles Taylor, Jr. of North Brunswick; her sister-in-law Debbie Taylor of Florida; her niece Brianna Thomasen; her nephews Jeffrey Taylor, Jr., Travis Taylor and Brent Klokis and her great-niece, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 13, 2023 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville. Memorial visitation will be on Tuesday September 12, 2023 from 5 to 7pm. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
