Wayne E. Mroz

Wayne E. Mroz, 71, of South Amboy died on Monday November 5, 2018 at CareOne at Holmdel. Born in Jersey City he lived in Iselin before moving to South Amboy in 1978. Before retiring he was employed at the Brooklyn Shipyard and then the Nitta Casing Factory, Somerset. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Son of the late Edward and Kathleen Hendricks Mroz he is survived by his wife of 42 years Suzanne Gail Powell Mroz; his daughter Nicole Mroz; his brother Glen Mroz; his sisters Barbara Homeyer, Gail Brower and her husband Edward and Kathleen Friedman and her husband David.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private and interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown will take place at a later date. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 145 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ.
