Wilma E. Zulin, 91, of Sayreville died on Thursday April 1, 2021 at home. Born in South Amboy she was employed as the Sayreville Welfare Director until retiring in 1992. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sayreville she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a committeewoman in Sayreville. A founding member of the Morgan First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, she was also a Past President of the Morgan Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Williams Pfau she is also predeceased by her husband George Zulin in 2012 and her son George Warren Zulin in 2019. She is survived by her daughters Lynette Utter and her husband Frederick and Alyeece Banoczi; her daughter-in-law Debra Zulin; her sister Mildred Roberta “Bobbi” Weaver; her grandchildren Karlton Utter and his wife Cindi, Brett Utter and his wife Christine, Shana Zulin and her fiancé Kenny Charles and Alexander Banoczi and his wife Christeen and her great-grandchildren Alexis, Brayden, Campbell, Brynn, Aubrey and Bryce.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
