Winston Philbert

Winston Philbert, 61, of Old Bridge died on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Dominica - West Indies, he enjoyed cooking, music and helping friends and family. He loved his family and liked entertaining and making people happy. He was employed by PQ Corporations for 33 years.

Son of the late Damase and Elizabeth Bruney Philbert, he is survived by his wife Andrea Giraudel Philbert, his children Danian Philbert and his wife Anya, Sheila, Ryan and Shawn Philbert, his grandchildren Saeed, Ajani and Jonah, his siblings Malcolm (Mary), Patricia, Albert (Mara), Trevor (Norma), Dennis (Monica), Sherril (Philip), Vincent (Marieline) and Harrigan (Gayle), his aunt Martha Bruney, his uncle Francis Bruney as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 6-8pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals”,  237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. The funeral service and interment on Friday May 14, 2021 will be private.
