Zachery T. McCarthy, 29, of Englishtown died on Sunday May 7, 2023 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in New Brunswick he lived in Spotswood and was employed as a 911 dispatcher for the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and served as Chief of Emergency Medical Services for the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad. An avid Disney fan, he loved music, animals and his family above all else.
He is survived by his father Terry McCarthy and his wife Alli; his mother Mary Berg and her husband Jeremy; his beloved fiancé Giancarlo Anzalone; his brothers Patrick McCarthy and Noah Berg; his sisters Kelly McCarthy and Emily and Rachel Gottlieb and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday May 11, 2023 from 4 to 8pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
