Yvonne T. Piper, 79, of Sayreville died on Monday December 31st, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ. Born in Panama, she moved to the United States in 1959, lived in Brooklyn, New York and moved to New Jersey in 1992. Before retiring she was employed by Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, as an Office Administrative Assistant.
Daughter of the late George and Gladys Piper, she is also predeceased by her brother Sydney Piper. She is survived by her children Ruppert Victor Piper, Carmelita Piper-Tookes (Ken) and Francine Maria Piper; her siblings George E. Piper, Jr. (Elvira), Vilma Suarez, Franklin Piper (Carlotta); her sister-in-law Ruth Piper; grandchildren Terral Ellis, Kenneth Jordan Tookes, and Kristopher Michael Tookes; four great-grandchildren; God-daughter Kisha Clinton; cousins; a host of nieces and nephews; and best friends Rebecca "Bec" Boney, Veronica "Vero" Newell, and Ruppert "Butch" Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 from 9 to 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, followed by interment at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Texas Road, Morganville, New Jersey.
